The number of online casinos including xbingo.com has increased over the years, although real life bingo halls are still quite popular all over the UK.  Many players claim that the experience is just not the same online, but larger numbers of people seem to prefer visiting the many internet sites available.

Free Fun

Playing bingo online can be absolutely free; almost all websites have free trial periods.  Moreover, new players often receive joining bonuses, while regulars get other freebies.  Fun is guaranteed, and every penny goes straight into the game.

Huge Online Community

Some players tire of the regulars at their Bingo Hall and try internet bingo instead.  The online bingo community is huge; there are plenty of chat rooms and forums where players can communicate with people all over the world, often sharing the interests in common.  Online bingo games often support live chat where players can chat to each other.

Variety of Games

Online bingo websites offer all sorts of bingo games, 90 ball games, 75 ball games, and four corners games.  Players can choose the games they want to play, try out different sorts of bingo, or even play multiple games simultaneously, there is no limit to the games to take part in.

Anytime, anywhere

Anyone can play bingo online at xbingo.com anytime, anywhere.  Players can log on 24 hours a day and all that is needed is a computer with internet access.

American poker superstar Phil Ivey is 36 on Wednesday and it could be a double celebration for him. That day should see him return to the Global Poker Index (GPI) 300 after four months in the wilderness. He has made a spectacular start to 2012 after enjoying a highly profitable Aussie Millions, which was his first major event since November’s Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Macau held in Melbourne, where he took the top prize of $2,058,948 for winning the AUD$250,000 buy-in Super High Roller, not long after being knocked out in 12th place during the AUD$10,000 buy-in main event for $102,947.

Ivey did not manage in a single tournament cash all last year, largely due to his admittedly cut down schedule for 2011. On the top of that of course he boycotted the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas last summer in support of angry Full Tilt customers, who have still not been allowed access to funds in their accounts with the poker room.

Day 1b of the World Series of Poker Circuit Caesars Palace $1,600 Main Event saw 354 players take to the felt, creating a total field of 662 players between the two Day 1 flights. After 15 rounds of play, 76 players’ accumulated enough chips to progress to day 2 scheduled for Sunday. They will join the other 58 survivors from day 1a to hopefully return to the tables.

Jeff Fielder is the overall leader heading into Day 2 after building a stack of 437,500 chips on Saturday. Fielder ascended to the top of the leader board when he won a massive pot late in the day against Mark “P0ker H0″ Kroon, who at the time was second in chips. Some of the notables that registered only on Day 1b and failed to advance to Day 2 were Jamie Gold, Steve Billirakis, Frank Kassela, Eli Elezra, Gavin Smith and Bryan Devonshire. The 134 players will return Sunday at 4 p.m. local time, and they will play down to either a final table or through 12 hours of play, whichever comes first.

After a recent slump in popularity, the game of bingo is coming back, gaining many participants, and making a lot more revenue that it used to.

The initial explosion in bingo’s popularity came in the 1970s, because it was a fun and inexpensive way to socialise and win some money while doing it.  After 1990, however, bingo went out of style because seniors became the primary market segment for this game.

With so many industries, especially gambling, moving to the World Wide Web, the popularity of bingo games has seen somewhat of a comeback.  Socialising has become a huge part of the internet experience, so it is no wonder that a social game like bingo adapted to this trend so well.

Going online has changed bingo for the better because now players can enjoy this game from the comfort of their home or anywhere else that they can get online.  Even though chat windows accompanying online games do not provide for the degree of social interaction seen at a real bingo hall, players from around the world can access online halls such as the golden bingo website.  This means that you can socialise with fellow bingo players from different countries and cultures, which can make the experience much more interesting.

It is much easier to set up a bingo hall online than offline, which means there will be more and more bingo websites entering the market over time.  This is a great thing for bingo enthusiasts, because competition always leads to much more favourable terms for the customers.
