Dusty ‘Leatherass’ Schmidt has been unveiled by Isle Of Man-licensed PokerStars.com, one of the world’s largest online poker rooms, as the latest member of its PokerStars Team Online. Schmidt joined online poker training site DragTheBar.com as a coach in January after spending three years as an instructor at StoxPoker.com and has been playing professionally for five years.
Dusty is a great member of the team and can boast success in the form of winning over three million dollars in his career while logging more than eight million hands over 10,000 hours. In addition he has other firsts to his name by posting the world’s highest win rate in games of $5/$10 and $10/$20 no-limit poker in 2007 and 2008 and won in excess of $600,000 playing high-stakes cash games over a four-month period starting in November of 2007. Schmidt joins a group of 26 elite poker players at the online school.
