The Dragons were not taken in by the pitch set out by British poker player JJ Hazan when he appeared on the “den” last night asking for backing amounting to £65k for a 40% claim to his winnings over three years. The Dragons didn’t seem to think it was a sound investment and rejected his proposal, but his pitch was probably better than a lot of us thought it was going to be.
JJ Hazan has been playing poker for more than 25 years and began at the tender age of 18 years. JJ who is current London Masters and Omaha Hilo champion put on a good showing but the Dragons were not convinced that he could give them the promised return. Two Dragons were not in the least bit interested, Debra and Peter and boy how they showed it! So JJ, you are on your own still and you will have to keep on winning with your own money. Good luck.

I thought he might of got backing as it did sound a easy win.
