One of the biggest pitfalls of being a professional online poker player is staying healthy.   Poker players at casinos have the advantage of having to walk through a casino to get to the table.  We online players, have only the space of our flat or “den” to exercise in!

Give yourself a schedule which includes breaks have a stretch and have a leisurely meal, which brings us to diet. While there’s nothing wrong with nibbling on a bag of chips sometimes, try to substitute it with something nutritious whenever possible, including real fruit juice or water. It is all too easy to fall into the trap of settling for quick, easy, unhealthy meals and snacks when you are strapped to a computer chair all day, especially in a job like poker when you are constantly “working.”  Do whatever you can to try to eat at least somewhat healthy. By keeping active and eating sensibly, you will be a better online poker player and you will be fitter and you will enjoy your online poker school so much more.
