Following the exit of Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars from the U.S., 888 Poker has extended its partnership with Caesars Entertainment in a meaningful move towards a legal American poker market. The online poker company announced this week that it will extend its partnership with Caesars Interaction Entertainment to include the United States, a huge step forward in paving the way for 888 Poker to be at the forefront of legalised online poker as soon as American regulations are implemented.
888 Holdings plc, which includes poker room 888 poker among their many high-profile gambling websites has, of course, been managing Caesars’ online World Series of Poker (WSOP) site, via their business-to-business (B2B) arm Dragonfish, in Britain since 2010. 888 have been successfully driving the World Series of Poker brand in Britain for the last few years, so it is looking somewhat healthier on the US poker front with 888 on board.
